Which Facebook and Instagram accounts can I connect?
Facebook Pages you manage, and Instagram professional accounts that are linked to one of those Pages. An Instagram account that isn’t linked to a Facebook Page can’t be connected.
What do I need to connect a page?
The owner role in your Zakio workspace, and a Facebook login with access to the pages. Facebook asks you to allow Zakio to read your pages, posts and comments, reply to comments, send messages, publish posts and read page insights. Pages you don’t grant access to are skipped.
How do keyword rules work?
You attach a rule to the posts it should watch. Every 20 seconds Zakio looks for new comments on those posts. When a comment contains one of the rule’s keywords, Zakio posts one of your public reply wordings, after the delay you set. On Facebook it can also send a private reply, when Meta allows one for that comment.
What happens to comments that no rule matches?
Nothing automatic. Zakio doesn’t reply, and the comment stays on the post for your team to answer. Each comment gets at most one automatic reply, and comments the page has already replied to are skipped.
Does it work in Arabic and English?
Yes. The whole interface is available in Arabic, laid out right to left, and in English. A single rule can mix Arabic and English keywords, and Arabic matching ignores diacritics and common spelling variants such as أ, إ and ا.
What can each teammate do?
There are two roles. The owner connects pages, invites and removes people, and sets permissions. Everyone else is an employee, and the owner decides, page by page, what each one can do: publish, schedule, reply to comments and messages, attach rules, or approve other people’s work. By default an employee’s posts wait for approval, and nobody approves their own. You invite people by email, with a link that stays valid for 7 days.
Is it free to start?
Yes. You start without entering a credit card, and because no card is taken, nothing is charged. Plans are priced by how many pages and teammates you manage — ask us for a quote.
What happens to my customers’ data, and can I disconnect?
Messenger conversations are read from Meta when you open them; Zakio doesn’t store the message text. Disconnecting a page removes Zakio’s access to it and stops new updates. Read the privacy policy for the details.
